The MINI International Neuropsychiatric
Interview is a short, structured diagnostic
interview developed in 1990 by psychiatrists and clinicians in the United States and Europe for DSM-IV and ICD-9 psychiatric disorders. With an administration time of approximately 5 to15 minutes the M.I.N.I. is the most widely used psychiatric structured diagnostic interview instrument in the world. The M.I.N.I. is employed by mental health professionals and health organizations in more than 100 countries.
Validation:
The M.I.N.I. has been validated against the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM diagnoses (SCID-P) and against the Composite International Diagnostic Interview for ICD-9 (CIDI). It has also been validated against expert opinion in a large sample in four European countries (France, United Kingdom, Italy and Spain). According to researchers at the National Institute of Mental Health's (NIMH) Division of Clinical and Treatment Research, the M.I.N.I. is a fully validated and more time-efficient alternative to the SCID-P and CIDI.

The Definition of Integrated Behavioral Health Care
Integrated behavioral health care is an emerging field within the wider practice of high-quality, coordinated health care. In the broadest use of the term, “integrated behavioral health care” can describe any situation in which behavioral health and medical providers work together.
The Relationship Between Integrated Behavioral Health Care and “Good Health Care”
The definition of integrated behavioral health care may come across to some readers as describing good health care in general, rather than specifically describing integrated behavioral health care. The reader may ask, “If the elements of integrated behavioral health care look so much like good care in general, why feature them separately? What’s the difference? What’s the point of a separate IBHC Measures Atlas?”
